Having graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from 9 Eylül University of Izmir, I started working for one of Componenta Turkey's suppliers as a design engineer. I had worked for 6 years in different positions including top management.

I have been working for Componenta in Manisa as a product development engineer. When I first started in Componenta, I joined a project about two innovative parts for Alfa Romeo. I have observed in the project lasted 16 months to sign off phase that repeatable process can be obtained with minimized scrap by advanced engineering.

In typical projects, part design an technical specifications aren't favorable for the casting supplier. Even if there are opportunities afterwards, it would be too late and it is very difficult to find our counterparts in design. The thing is to specify methodology. If we consider that the big portion of piece price is the material cost, I think we will increase our competitive capacity by advanced engineering applications. 

Componenta is a unique company which has very open-minded targets and which is very much customer focused organization. My experience is getting increasingly from theory to practice. I see clearly that I can accomplish my objective in Componenta by getting involved in the projects dynamically and being the pioneer in by the year 2012 expresses the philosophy that I am going to be in until then.
