The basic principle for equality at Componenta is to prevent beforehand any kind of discrimination at the workplace. Componenta also has specific equal opportunities plan, which is an effective tool in communicating and securing the equality practices.
Taking good care of the employees
All Componenta employees in Finland, Sweden, and the Netherlands are covered by a collective bargaining agreement. In Turkey such agreements cover 84% of the employees. Componenta carefully follows national legislation, cooperation acts and other laws and regulations.
Every Componenta employee is covered by a company health service. Focus is on preventive health care and safety.
We pay special attention to the orientation of new employees, to safety training, learning each phase of the work and how to operate machinery. We develop our orientation procedures continuously.

In this changing situation consistent, motivating and fair compensation plays a critical role both in leading operations and in attracting, retaining and motivating employees.
