Forge

Componenta Wirsbo, is an independent unit operating in Sweden and specializing in its own area of expertise. Componenta Wirsbo supplies forged products to the Heavy truck-, Off-road-, mining- and manufacturing industry, as blanks and machined products.

Componenta Wirsbo has two sites, one located in Virsbo (head office) and the other in Smedjebacken. Wirsbo employs some 210 employees including leased personnel.

The Wirsbo forge is part of the Group's Machine shops division since 2009. The forge has belonged to the Componenta Group since 1997. Originally the forge operations were started in Wirsbo already in 1620. Read more about Componenta Wirsbo
