Componenta's production units all have third party certified quality and environmental management systems.

Depending on customer requirements, the quality system conforms to either ISO 9001 or ISO/TS 16949 standards, and the environmental management system to ISO 14001.

In addition, Componenta's business units in Manisa and Orhangazi, Turkey and Pistons in Finland, have a certified Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001.

Componenta's production operations at the foundries and forges must have a valid environmental permit and meet its requirements. Conditions for granting the permit are, for example, that operations shall not result in a risk to health, or in significant pollution of the environment or the risk of this.
